The Louvre
Explore the world's largest museum with an art expert .

The Louvre is a must-see in Paris. With over 35,000 works on display, it's easy to lose your way if you visit on your own. But after years of meandering my way through its galleries, sculpture gardens, and pyramids, I'm proud to know this place like the back of my hand. With 60,600m² (or 652,300sq.ft.) of exhibition space, it's best to focus on certain sections of the museum for your visit, which I can of course tailor to your interests and needs. Fan of Leonardo da Vinci? The Mona Lisa's staring right at you! Etruscan enthusiast? The Sarcophagus of the Spouses will leave you dazzled. Ready to walk like an Egyptian? The Sphinx of Tanis will stop you in your tracks. Even if it's all Greek to you, there will be something in here to admire, contemplate and learn about. It would be my pleasure to show you around this exceptional space.
Other works include, but are not limited to: the Venus de Milo, Borghese Gladiator, Winged Victory of Samothrace, five works by Leonardo da Vinci, The Coronation of Napoleon, the Raft of the Medusa, Liberty Leading the People and Michelangelo's Slaves. This list is entirely customisable and non-exhaustive.
The Louvre opens at 9am and closes at 6pm every day apart from Wednesday and Friday, when there is a late closure at 9pm and Tuesdays, when the museum is closed all day. I can arrange tours based on availability of tickets and other tours which may already have been booked. I work at the Louvre very frequently and have done tours with one person all the way up to the maximum of 20 people. Please be aware that for groups of 7 or more, special permission is required and may take longer to process. Headsets will be provided. I generally recommend a 2-hour tour for most visitors, but I am more than happy to organise a 3-hour tour if you have particular interests. If you are short on time, we can have an express 1-hour tour but please only expect to see the Mona Lisa if this is the case. I strongly recommend wearing comfortable footwear and clothing as there is a good amount of walking involved in a Louvre tour, including several sets of stairs. Despite these challenges, I can organise a wheelchair-friendly tour on request, whether you have your own or need to loan one, at no extra cost.
Prices are available on the Prices page. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your plans and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Available in English, French and Spanish.

The Musée d'Orsay
Experience Impressionist masterpieces with an accredited guide.

The Musée d'Orsay is Paris' second largest museum and is dedicated to art from 1848-1914. The building itself is part of its appeal; originally the Gare d'Orsay, a train station, it was built to welcome visitors to the 1900 edition of the Universal Exposition. The train station eventually became incompatible with new technologies and was abandoned by the 1960s. Its beauty was, however, undeniable and by 1986, it had transformed into a museum. It now hosts the largest collection of Impressionist and post-Impressionist art in the world, with over 3650 paintings in its collections. This includes 73 paintings by Claude Monet alone. I would be delighted to impress you with this wonderful museum on a tour.
Join me to discover artworks by the likes of Vincent Van Gogh, Alfred Sisley, Paul Signac, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, Paul Gauguin, Edgar Degas, Gustave Courbet and Frédéric Bazille, among others. This can be customised if you have any requests.
The Musée d'Orsay is open from 9:30am to 6pm everyday except Monday, when it is closed all day. In addition, it remains open until 9:45pm on Thursdays. I can arrange tours based on availability of tickets and other tours which may already have been booked. I work very frequently at the Musée d'Orsay and have done tours with one person all the way up to the maximum of 25 people. Please be aware that for groups of 7 or more, special permission is required and may take longer to process. Headsets will be provided. I generally recommend a 1.5-hour tour for most visitors but this can be shortened to 1-hour or lengthened to 2 hours depending on your interests and needs. The Musée d'Orsay is less physically demanding than the Louvre but I still recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear. This tour is also wheelchair-friendly, whether you have your own mobility gear or need to borrow some from the museum at no extra charge.
