Something different
Paris seen through a new lens.
River Cruise
Paris's riverboats are an institution - the first boats designed for tours of the Seine were used in 1867. Today's boats have an open deck which allows people to take in the city with panoramic views from the river, as well as a lower deck away from the sun. While the boats provide some pre-recorded multi-lingual commentary from a loudspeaker, I would like to offer you the opportunity to explore Paris from the river with a live guide, giving you detailed, relevant commentary about the landmarks as we sail past in your language. This tour is a great way to take a break from walking around the city while still taking in its sites from a unique point of view. Expect to sail past the Grand Palais, the Louvre, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Musée d'Orsay, the Palais des Invalides, the Eiffel Tower and even Paris's very own Statue of Liberty!
River cruises depart everyday from the Pont de l'Alma every 30 to 45 minutes depending on the season, from 10am to 10pm. I can arrange tours based on availability of tickets and other tours which may already have been booked. I can do this tour with one person all the way up to 6 people, or even more on special request. Headsets will be provided. The river cruise itself lasts around 70 minutes; please expect a 1.5-hour tour to give us time to get checked in and seated. The upper deck is open to the elements, so please wear appropriate clothing and sun protection depending on the weather. This tour may also be conducted from inside the boat, with views from the windows, if the weather conditions don't allow us to go up to the top. This tour is wheelchair-friendly, provided you bring your own mobility gear.
Prices are available on the Prices page. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your plans and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Available in English, French and Spanish.
What better way to see the centre of Paris than by way of the Seine!
Beyoncé and Jay-Z: The Global Louvre

American musicians and power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z filmed a music video in the Louvre for their 2018 collaborative album Everything is Love. Directed by Ricky Saiz, the 6-minute-long clip is packed with references to art history, Black identity and pop culture. As a fan and art historian, I was thrilled to offer this tour for the first time in 2025 to a group of university students, but I feel that this tour could interest a great number of people, whether you're academically minded or not. On this tour, we will discover the works mentioned in the music video and discuss their relevance to what Beyonce and Jay-Z were trying to convey, as well as seeing other important parts of the museum. Highlights include the Victory of Samothrace, Venus de Milo, the Raft of the Medusa, the Coronation of Napoleon and the Mona Lisa.
The Louvre opens at 9am and closes at 6pm every day apart from Wednesday and Friday, when there is a late closure at 9pm and Tuesdays, when the museum is closed all day. I can arrange tours based on availability of tickets and other tours which may already have been booked. I work at the Louvre very frequently and have done tours with one person all the way up to the maximum of 20 people. Please be aware that for groups of 7 or more, special permission is required and may take longer to process. Headsets will be provided. I generally recommend a 2-hour tour for most Bey and Jay fans, but I am more than happy to organise a 3-hour tour if you have particular interests. I strongly recommend wearing comfortable footwear and clothing as there is a good amount of walking involved in a Louvre tour, including several sets of stairs. Despite these challenges, I can organise a wheelchair-friendly tour on request, whether you have your own or need to loan one, at no extra cost.
Prices are available on the Prices page. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your plans and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Available in English, French and Spanish.

Running tour
As a keen fitness enthusiast, I'd like to propose a unique way of getting to know Paris for fellow runners - a running tour going along the banks of the Seine! Along the way, we can take stops to have a look at some of Paris' most famous landmarks, such as the Grand Palais, Tuileries Gardens, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, Pont Neuf, Nôtre-Dame de Paris, l'Académie Française and the Eiffel Tower. I'll share their stories with you as we run along at a pace comfortable for you, whether you're a relatively fast runner (I can run comfortably at 4:30/km while still giving a tour) or if you'd like to go more slowly.
This tour is very adaptable to you and your wishes - it is available at any time of day as long as no other tours have been booked beforehand. I can do tours with one person all the way up to 12 people. Headsets are not necessary for this tour. I usually recommend around an hour to discover Paris this way. I can also do a longer or shorter tour if you'd prefer on special request and your pace. I cannot provide clothing, shoes or changing facilities so please come dressed appropriately for a run. I am happy to share advice from runner-to-runner but please do not substitute me for a personal trainer as I am not a qualified professional in the field. Please only consider this tour if you are physically able to run comfortably for a minimum of 5km. A normal running tour is usually about 10km (6.2 miles), but this can be shortened or lengthened according to your wishes.
Prices are available on the Prices page. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your plans and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Available in English, French and Spanish.

Ghost Tour

The city of Paris has been around for 2300 years, so it makes sense that it has some skeletons in its past... and present. Even back in the 2nd century, many Parisians only converted to Christianity after the Romans chopped off Saint Denis' head, after which he found the strength to pick himself back up - literally - and build his namesake basilica north of the city. The royal families that called the Louvre home killed many associates to stay ahead; the Black Death took out an estimated 50,000 to 80,000 people; and the Revolution extracted bloody revenge on the monarchs and anyone tied to them. Paris is today one of the most romantic cities in the world, but it still has a dark side. The Vampire of Paris, Nicolas Castelaux, is testimony to this - he served prison time in the 1990s for cannibalism, before becoming an expert on serial killers and best-selling author. Uncover the morbid secrets of Île de la Cité and the Marais with me... if you dare!
Ghost tours are best performed in the evening for full effect, but can be done during the day too. I can do tours with one person all the way up to 30 people, with headsets being provided on request but generally not necessary. I usually recommend a 1.5-hour tour for a spooky look at central Paris, but this can be reduced to 1 hour or extended to 2 hours. The entirety of this tour is conducted outdoors and as such I recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. The centre of Paris is quite flat and so this tour is wheelchair-friendly. I do not recommend this tour for young children or the squeamish considering its subject matter.
Prices are available on the Prices page. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your plans and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Available in English, French and Spanish.
